BRISTON PARTNER OF THE YVAN GUILLEMIN TOURNAMENT AT PARIS POLO
The 2019 Paris polo season began on April 27th with a 4/6 goals tournament over two days of competition, a tournament 100% for members of the Paris Polo, renamed the Yvan Guillemin Tournament, in homage to its founder who created it primarily to allow young players, members of the Paris Polo, to meet in a friendly atmosphere on the Cercle pitch.
A successful bet! Four teams, Sainte Mesme, Kazak-Red Falcon, Kappa, and Esprit Polo, met this last weekend of April for two days filled with emotion, joy, and sportsmanship. During their two matches, the players demonstrated the values dear to our sport: fighting spirit used with fair play, conviviality, and mutual support.

It was finally Sainte Mesme who, after their victory against Kappa on Saturday, won the final on Sunday against Kazak-Red Falcon by two points on a score of
final of 8 to 6 and takes for the second consecutive year the Challenge of this Yvan Guillemin Tournament. The Kappa and Esprit Polo teams will have offered the public a small but very tight final since Kappa wins by a tiny point.
Clarita, a mare ridden by Robert Ström, was crowned best mare of the tournament and awarded a beautiful blanket in the colors of the Polo de Paris and a watch for her owner by the Polo de Paris in partnership with Briston.
